Before connecting anything, map the data
Record the form ID, page, location, service, allowed consent channels and who will receive each new inquiry. Treat lead source and campaign as useful context, not as proof that the lead will buy.
Recommended integration checkpoints
- Authorize only the correct Meta assets and GoHighLevel account.
- Map required form fields to defined CRM contact properties.
- Set source tags that are descriptive and consistent.
- Choose the correct pipeline and initial owner per location.
- Decide what happens when the same person submits again.
- Create a notification for a staff owner, not just an automatic prospect message.
Test three pathways end-to-end
- A valid inquiry: lead appears once, assigned correctly, and staff receives alert.
- A repeat inquiry: deduplication does not overwrite useful history or consent.
- A lead without SMS permission: no automated SMS is sent merely because a phone number exists.
Messaging and permissions
Set proper channel opt-ins and ensure your wording aligns with platform and local rules. Avoid assuming Meta form submission creates permission for every follow-up channel. Configure relevant messaging registrations and authentication before sending campaigns.
Measure conversions beyond form submissions
Compare the number of test and production form leads with contacts actually created in the CRM. Then track qualified conversations, booked appointments and attended appointments separately. An integration that reports 100% 'conversion' because every inquiry becomes a CRM contact has not demonstrated sales impact.
Staff notification example: New [service] lead from [form name] assigned to [owner]. Please review source details and contact permission before responding. Next action due: [time].
We can review your real lead flow, booking steps and follow-up gaps. An audit is a starting point, not a promise of sales results.
